CONNECT WITH AJAYE

AJAYE is an award winning artist who has built a solid reputation as an outstanding vocalist and songwriter both in Canada and the United States. She creates a universe with each song that explores her own experiences of heartbreak, love, and the pursuit of happiness. Her strength is in her magnetic stage presence, powerfully rich voice, and honest songwriting.
Growing up outside Vancouver, British Columbia, AJAYE comes by music honestly; she performed extensively with her family music ensemble, The Jardines. “Learning the ropes of the music business within the safety of my family was a great way to get started,” says AJAYE. “But you gotta step out on your own at some point, and my move to Nashville was the ultimate growing up experience, both musically and from a life experience standpoint.”
In Nashville, she honed her songwriting craft and earned a name performing the Nashville club scene, including a performance residency at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red, and as host/founder of "The NashUp" - a weekly writer's night every at Alley Taps in historic Printers Alley.
With a secure footing on both Canadian and American musical soil, AJAYE continues to write, record and collaborate with the best on both sides of the border.
Her recent release Glorious Disaster was written between a devastating tornado in Nashville, and a global pandemic lockdown that embodies the glory and disaster in all of us.
